Indonesian Muslims were praying at home for couple of months following the restrictions imposed in the country due to covid19 pandamic. It is reported from Jakarta that the Muslims are now able to perform the first Friday prayers in mosques on this Friday as the capital city is easing restrictions in public spaces.

It is reported that the mosques are instructed to follow the protocols mandated by the city administration, namely body temperature check before entering the premise, assigning the 1-meter distance policy between participants and requiring them to wear a face mask. Furthermore the devotees must bring their own prayer mats and a bag to store their footwear.
