President donald trump has requested Indian Prime Minister modi to lift the ban on exports of malaria drug to treat for COVID19 victims of United States as the country is struggling with massive amounts of patients discovered daily in hospitals.

Upon order of Indian Prime Minister the exports of hydroxychloroquine and paracetamol will be allowed subject to the domestic supplies being met as necessary for India.
This step to lift the ban would be done by India only on humanitarian grounds to help United States to overcome their difficulty.

India itself advocates health-care workers to take the drug regularly as a preventive measure. hydroxychloroquine is a drug which is used to treat malaria and however it has yielded promising yet inconclusive results in a small coronavirus trial.
