The sea world has faced its fair share of struggles. With Tuna being fished to the edge of non existence, the pressure on maritime life continued growing. After many conservation efforts the numbers have bounced back. Pay in mind that it has been over a decade since such a difference was noticed. International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) mentioned that tuna stocks remain to be declining despite this increase, and are classified in the Red List. Another sector of sea life that have been threatened by over fishing are sharks. The World Conservation Congress is to be held for the first time in five years for discussions to take place in terms of what is to take place to ensure that these ancient species are protected.
